2019 Student Service Film Festival

JL Studio Films appeared in the 2019 Student Service Film Festival on May 1st with there film, Teen Suicide Passing the Pain PSA. This was entered in the category of Public Service Announcement as it promotes suicide prevention. Steve Oldfield, a documentary filmmaker who organized the event that was sponsored by Children, Inc. was also in attendance and awards the awards for each category.

Official Selection for 2019 Student Service Film Festival

The film was screened on May 1st, 2019 at the Thomas More University in Crestview Hills. Jackson LaCroix (Director & Producer of Teen Suicide Passing the Pain PSA) was present during the screening as well as more than 150 other people. As the film was screened the audience of the festival responded to the film with great interest in the film and the topic.

After all the High School films were screened awards (voted by the audience) were delivered. For the PSA category, JL Studio Films won Audience Favorite for the film Teen Suicide Passing the Pain PSA.
